Dr. Cai Jinming has been engaged in research on low-dimensional nanomaterials, including graphene, for nearly two decades. His work encompasses the atomic manufacturing and characterization of graphene, the study of surface chemical reaction mechanisms, the development of graphene applications, and industrial transformation. He has published over 140 academic papers, including one in Nature, one in Nat. Nanotechnol., three in Nat. Commun., two in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., four in JACS, four in ACS Nano, and one in PRL, with over 8,000 citations. He has delivered keynote speeches at more than 80 academic and industrial conferences and holds seven international patents and over 100 authorized Chinese patents. He has consistently been included in the list of the world's top 100,000 scientists for several consecutive years.
Dr. Cai Jinming, concurrently serving as a university professor and doctoral supervisor, is a young talent introduced by the state for overseas high-level personnel, a council member of the Chinese Vacuum Society, a youth council member of the Chinese Materials Research Society, a council member of the China Association for Science and Technology Youth, and a committee member of the Guangdong Province Graphene Standards Committee. He also serves as a young editorial board member for academic journals such as 'Chinese Journal of Chemistry' and 'Journal of Minerals, Metallurgy and Materials (English Edition)'. Additionally, he is a representative of the 12th National Congress of the Jiusan Society, a member of the 13th Committee of the Yunnan Provincial CPPCC, and a member of the 14th Committee of the Dongguan Municipal CPPCC.
